What I want to change about CPS100

I think the computer class can be better if there are both Windows pcs and Mac computers in this lab. Now it is important to learn both Windows OS XP and Mac OS X especially the newer version, Tiger because there are many useful and cool features with OS X.
Oh, let me mention that I also wanted to learn how to make network between the computers and how it works if it's not too difficult.
Well....I think that's all I can think of now.
Excel course was nice to learn because it will be useful when I start working at an office. I want to thank you very much for our teacher, Mr.Poza, and also my classmates who helped me understanding the class.

Edge mobile internet port

Recently, I canceled my ADSL because I don't like using internet in my room.
But I realized that these busy days, I need to send my teachers some of the assigtments through the e-mail. So one of my friend gave me his mobile internet port and I tried to use it. But it is very very slow..... and often fails to open a link page. I lost my patience and decided to go to a internet cafe when I need to use the internet.

By the way, I enjoyed Michiko and Keita's PowerPoint presentation today.
It was my first time to see any students presentation with PowerPoint.
I could see how it is effective to use PowerPoint for a presentation.

What I Want to Learn about Computer

What I want to learn about computer...? mmmm
I enjoy learning html but it's not something I want to continue for more professional skills. It's too difficult and tiring for me....besides, I think designing the computer tools is interesting.
Since mac started to have new design on not only the external equipments, but also inside display, many people's image about mac has changed.
Before, many people thought mac has less abilities than windows and outworn. However, the current image of mac is, comfortanble to operate, highly designed, and tough. It is because the mac technicians made a big progress, but the effect of its new design was also big.
Therefore, I believe design is very important for computer business. Then someday, I think I want to learn about it.

CS100

Usually I am sleepy at school even I slept enough the last night.
However, learning how to use the Power Point and to creat webpages are interesting that I don't feel sleepy. The Power Point is interesting because I can do many exciting things. For example, making transitions between slides is fun because it is like a special effect of famous Hollywood movies such as Star Wars series. Creating animation is also interesting because I see infinitive possibility of what I can creat with this feature. For my presentation, I am trying to make a cluster of butterflies crossing the slide using animation. I enjoyed a lot.
Creating web pages are another fun. It is like magic when I type commands and attributes in note pad and save the file as .html, and open it. Boring strange sentences within some pairs of blakets make a funky pink webpage. Every time I made some command and refresh the page, I have fun looking at the magical changes that I made.

Computer problem

Although computers have great advantages of working quickly and easily, they sometimes disturb me by freezing and radiating electromagnetic wave.
I feel so distressed when my computer freezes while I am wroking on my essay a midnight before the final due. Then I abuse it hard knowing that it won't help at all since the computer now become a great enemy of mine but doesn't have any feelings.
Moreover, its radiating electromagnetic wave makes me sick. These days, I can't stand working in front of computer for more than 1 hour. I get cold sweat and start to feel weak and dizzy. Many people will doubt this fact, but I believe that computers' s electromagnetic wave is not good for our health, especially for our brains.

Future Computer

In the future, I hope some engineer will invent the computer with 3D display. With the 3D display, I think people will enjoy working with computer more. You can see the Quicktime movie in 3D, and enjoy live chat as if your friend is actually in front of you. You don't need to buy any massive audio player, but the floating virtual mp3 player will take place of it. I think it will be extremely cool. If the future computer allowed to operate it by touching the display, like ATM machine, it would be also very nice and easy especially for elder people who have trouble with new machines. Anyway, since the computers have been developped so rapidly, I think it won't take so long to see the computers with 3D displays and the computers which is easier to operate like ATM machines.

Computer Gift

If I had a large amount of money, I would gift my family i-sight.
Since my family members are not in Japan and separated all around the world, we rarely meet all together. We send e-mails to communicate, but cannot see each others face.
I think it would be nice if we all have i-sight which allows us to enjoy the movie chat.
When my sister is tired of studying in US, I can cheer her up face to face.
When my my parents are quarreling each other, my sister and I can try to stop it and find the solution together. I think I would send them i-sight if I had money to spend for computer gifts.

My computer history

My first exparience with computer was at primary school. That time, my school had about 20 computers which were very big that I thought they were TVs.
When I was 12 years old, my father bought a machintosh notebook computer. At that time, mac had very different design compare to now. I remember the Apple logo was painted with rainbow. None of our family could operate his computer well. I was just playing games with it everyday.
The next computer was the vaio notebook with windows 97. This time, I and my mother started to send e-mails to my sister who was studying at a college in United States. However, I didn't do anything else with it than to send e-mails.
When I started to study at the same college with my sister, I got my own computer. I guess it was the Sotec notebook with windows 2000. In United States, almost all the students at the college were very familiar with computers. One of my classmate tought me some fun that I can play with my computer. I learned how to get free mp3s and play with winamp, how to communicate with messengers, and how to find interesting webpages. I especially enjoyed customizing mp3 players on my desktop, and MSN messenger became my initial communication with friends rather than telephones.
Now I'm using Mac G4 with OS10.2.8. I think the graphics and animation effects of OSX is fantastic. Although I don't spend much time with computers like when I was in US, I think that the benefits of personal computers are incalculable.
